How very poignant...I have never seen a memorial like that. Over here we get bunches of flowers by the roadside, as a cyclist that hesitates to do battle with the lorries taking deliveries and the log lorries plus tourist traffic this photo touches me.

Fee - I always encourage cyclists to wear flashing lights on both the front and rear sides of their bodies and never assume a vehicle sees you until eye contact is made.

Lucky - that's right. That makes two (along with the one on the 65th Street transverse) that I know of. Do you know any others?

Good tip.I do wear a bright yellow cycling all-in-one thingy which is enough to shock the average driver into pulling out but not every one is average!
