The disparity between the rich and the poor (several of the photos above) ... and the apathy, instead of outrage, which prevails. It must be a lot worse now than when I left NY (1989). Back then, you could walk over rows of bodies in the subway (Fifth Ave. & 53rd). Have you dealt with any homeless entering your cab?
No, the homeless don't enter cabs, but they do approach us asking for money. Actually, it's better than it was in '89 in my opinion, at least from what I can see on the street.
